Super friendly staff greeted us every day with a lovely Kalimera! The breakfast was a highlight, offering an excellent buffet spread that was always fresh. The pool area was super relaxing with plenty of spots to unwind after exploring the lovely cobbled streets of the Old Town. Amazing location, right in the heart of everything, just minutes away from local tavernas and the harbor.

All in all, everything was there that one could expect. Not less but not more either. The location directly at the foot of the fortress is certainly a big plus.
Hardly any information available for activities in and around Rethymnon. Even our inquiry about the ubiquitous e-scooters could not be answered. Missing offers for the evening at the hotel. One can sit in the courtyard at the pool, but compared to the surrounding taverns, there are no expensive drinks from the bar (cocktail 8,00 Euro!).

Top location to visit the city centre. Parking for €10 per day directly opposite. In the courtyard, facing the pool, an oasis of calm.
Towards the street a bit loud at night.

Oh, how good it was to find a shower that required acrobatics to use, and let's not even start on the air conditioning. I'm not sure I'm the only guest who might prefer 19°C in summer, but of course, they had to treat someone like me 'regularly'. This place could've been a gem, but I just couldn't give it a good review.

Lovely modern and immaculate room with balcony, magnificent location close to standard bars in the town. Location next to the center of the old town of Rethymnon and an exceptional restaurant Alana.

Located in Rethymons old town, nice hotel pool for the one who likes to be at the pool

Just a nice choice for a city break in Rethymno with best value. The hotel had a lovely large pool shaded by trees. Book swimming time in advance to secure your spot.

The hotel is beautifully centrally located. Super breakfast, very obliging and friendly staff.
There are not many television stations, which did not bother us personally. But for this area very unusual

The hotel is super cute and right in the center of rethymno. Breakfast was buffett style with loads of tasty options, and the staff are really friendly! The pool area was nice and had plenty of sunbeds, and the rooms are comfy with good ac. There's paid parking which is a lifesaver in this busy area.
the shower could be a bit tricky to use and the noise from the street was kinda annoying at times.

The place was clean with a very good staff that needs to improve on customer service. When we checked in, standard twin room with a private balcony was ready. Awesome very central location just off Rathymno port, a quiet area, and food store.

Fantastic location near excellent restaurants, shops, beach etc; elegant but comfortable, unpretentious ambiance; attractive, multi-use pool/terrace area; friendly staff. We liked this hotel so much, we decided to stay four more days. Our favorite hotel on Crete

The location was perfect for exploring local spots, like the Loggia, a historic Venetian gentlemen's club. The breakfast was always fresh, with a variety of options to enjoy before hitting the beach. Don't miss out on the lovely pool area. It's perfect for relaxation after a day of adventure!
While my experience was mostly great, the shower setup in our room was a bit awkward, requiring us to hold the showerhead, which wasn't ideal.

This is a perfectly decent and nice hotel in the old town of Rethimno. The staff was really friendly and really helpful. The free internet access was also a major plus. The pool was lovely, the rooms clean, and staying in the old town is much better than being in the newer developments. I really appreciated how helpful the staff was. Overall, I think this was excellent value for the money and I'd stay here again.
There were only two general things I did not like. First, the shower was a little awkward. No curtain, it was very small, and it took a while for the water to get warm. Also, the reception on my television was poor. I could barely see anything! Which didn't seem to matter as it was mostly all in Greek anyway.
